Head to The Beachlands at the corner of Metchosin Road and Latoria Boulevard in Colwood on the ancestral territory of the Lekwungen speaking people on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1pm until 8pm for the Eats & Beats Beach Party! It's live music all day with an international food truck festival, a craft beverage garden and more! We're celebrating summer with FREE fun in the sun, sand, and sea.

Live music, street food and beach beverages

Picture yourself with your favourite people on the sunny beach by the ocean, cold beverage in hand, grooving to the summertime tunes of some of the best local bands.

Sample international flavours from more than a dozen favourite food trucks, enjoy an ice cold beer or cider from the Victoria Beer Society beachside beer service and play in the sun, sand, and sea in one of the most beautiful oceanfront parks on the island.

Bringing the beats

Groove to some of the best bands on the South Island, including The Soul Shakers, Silvertone, The Temps, Heist and Sugar the Band.

Soul Shakers - Come groove to the soulful sounds of the Soul Shakers, easily one of the best dance bands on Vancouver Island. Top-notch musicianship, stellar harmonies and high energy performances are a trademark of this band led by powerhouse singer and entertainer Joyce “The Voice” Allensen.

Silvertone - this talented young power trio from Royal Bay High will take you on a journey to the 70’s... think Led Zeppelin, Cream and the Who and get ready to be blasted into the past.

The Temps - Dance away the afternoon with the best mix of classic hits and modern rock. The Temps play songs you forgot were your favourites and bring the good times everywhere they go.

Heist - With incredible, authentic tributes to the Tragically Hip and more, Heist delivers classic tunes that remind you how lucky we are to be living, playing and partying here in this place we get to call home.

Sugar the Band - Sugar is a throwback soul band with a tight rhythm section, stellar vocals, and life altering sax solos. Come get your love.

Serving up the eats

Sample a variety of international flavours at the Eats & Beats food festival with more than a dozen food vendors to try!
