Developed by experts at BC Children’s Hospital Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre and Centre for Mindfulness. Begin to explore and experience practices of mindfulness and self-compassion in easy and fun ways. Breathr can help you to live in the present moment, while providing interesting facts about the many benefits of mindfulness.

Calm Harm

An award-winning app funded by teenage mental health charity stem4, to help manage the urge to self-harm. It provides some immediate activities and techniques to help you break the cycle of self-harm behaviour and explore underlying trigger factors. The app supports you in building a ‘safety net’ of helpful thoughts, behaviours, and access to supportive people, as well as providing the opportunity to journal and self-reflect.

Young people aged 12-24 and their caregivers can access same day virtual services or schedule a virtual counselling appointment, find peer support, access primary care, get support with employment, access groups & workshops, or browse our library of tools and resources.

It interrupts repetitive thinking by setting aside your worries until later, so you don't get caught up in them and can get on with your day. This means you can deal with worries once a day, rather than carrying them around with you 24/7.

Stresslr

From BC Children's Hospital - a free app that provides a fun and engaging way for children ages 9-11 to learn about stress. Children follow Stresslr, a friendly robot, to help understand what causes them stress, how they react to it, and to develop healthy strategies to cope with stress in their everyday lives.
