West Shore RCMP Detachment Expansion
During 2024, the Owners of the RCMP Detachment (Langford, Colwood, and View Royal) have been engaged in the pre-validation phase of a capital project collaborative delivery model called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) for the West Shore RCMP Detachment Expansion.
Pre-validation includes aspects such as securing operational space to be used during rebuild, entering into a license for additional parking, reconfirming space needs, engaging project leads and legal support, and selecting project partners through an RFP process.
In 2025 the focus will be on the validation (go / no go) phase, inlcuding working sessions to address challenges and further advance the scope, budget and delivery parameters.
