Island Health, Integrated Mobile Crisis Response Team (IMCERT)

Island Health provides crisis response, mental health and substance use assessment and support, consultation, referrals, and connection to services. Staff include mental health clinicians, psychiatric nurses, child and youth counsellors and plain clothed police officers who work daily from 1 p.m. - 12 a.m.  Connect with this service through the Vancouver Island Crisis Line

Vancouver Island Crisis Society - Crisis Line

The Provincial Health Authority provides short-term, non-judgmental crisis intervention, information, and resources. The crisis phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The crisis chat is available from 6pm until midnight every night.

Victim Link BC

Information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence, including victims of human trafficking exploited for labour or sexual services.

Victoria Sexual Assault Centre, 24/7 Emergency Response  

The Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) provides immediate emotional support and information to people of all genders, 13 years and older, who have been sexually assaulted within the past 7 days. Call and ask to speak to a VSAC Sexual Assault Support Worker or attend at Victoria General Hospital.

Victoria Youth Empowerment Society, Kiwanis Emergency Youth Shelter (KEYS)

A 10-bed home environment that provides emergency housing for youth (ages 13-18) of all genders who are homeless and/or have no safe housing alternatives. Phone answered 24 hours a day, or email.

Youth Against Violence Line (YAVL)

Report a crime or violent incident or just to talk about a problem. We don't use call display and we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The line is a multilingual service so we can talk with you in your own language. Concerned parents, teachers, caregivers, service providers and others are also welcome to call for information and assistance.
