Colwood's Mayor and Council recognize that many not-for-profit organizations provide valuable contributions that enrich the lives of people in our community.
Applications are being accepted from charitable, philanthropic, religious, and other non-profit organizations for permissive property tax exemptions for the 2024 through 2027 tax years. Applicants that own and occupy their property and meet the requirements stated in the Community Charter and Council Policy may qualify for a property tax exemption.
Council policy regarding permissive tax exemptions and an application form are available on the City’s website and at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Road, Colwood BC, V9C 1R1.
Applications for exemption must be received no later than Thursday, August 31, 2023.
