NOTICE IS GIVEN that Council will consider First and Second Reading on Monday, June 12th, 2023, at 6:30 pm in relation to the proposed “Colwood Land Use Bylaw No. 151, 1989, Amendment No. 205 (2054-76 Sooke Road), Bylaw No. 1989, 2023”.

PURPOSE: To amend Colwood Land Use Bylaw No. 151, 1989 to rezone the properties at 2054, 2056, 2060, 2070 and 2076 Sooke Road from the Residential 1 (R1) Zone to the Transit Growth Area 1 (TGA1) Zone to enable the development of two 6-storey apartment buildings.
SUBJECT PROPERTY: This Bylaw applies to the lands legally described as “Lot 16 Section 101 Esquimalt Plan VIP32178” (2054 Sooke Road), “Lot 17 Section 101 Esquimalt Plan VIP32178” (2056 Sooke Road), “Lot 1 Section 101 Esquimalt Plan VIP6399 Except Plan 32178” (2060 Sooke Road), “Lot B Section 101 Esquimalt Plan VIP14811” (2070 Sooke Road), and “Lot 1 Section 101 Esquimalt Plan VIP32147” (2076 Sooke Road).
INSPECTION OF MATERIALS: Copies of the proposed bylaw and related materials can be viewed here [PDF/24.7MB] or in person at Colwood City Hall from June 5th to June 12th, 2023 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays.
