NOTICE IS GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 6:30 pm in relation to the following proposed “Colwood Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1700-06 (Olympic View Local Area Plan)” and “Colwood Land Use Bylaw No. 151, 1989, Amendment No. 192 (CD2 Olympic View), Bylaw No. 1924, 2022.

PLACE: Council Chambers, 3300 Wishart Road
PURPOSE: To amend Section 7 and Section 31.2 of the Colwood Official Community Plan (Olympic View Area Plan) and Section 10.6 of the Land Use Bylaw to increase the permitted density for the Olympic View local area from 456 to 580 residential units, to amend the land use designation for the subject properties from “attached housing” to “apartment”, and to permit buildings up to 7 storeys on the subject properties.
SUBJECT PROPERTY: This Bylaw applies to the land legally described as:
Lot 35, Section 60, Esquimalt District, Plan EPP101740 (3601 Olympian Way) and Lot 3, Sections 60 and 61, Esquimalt District, Plan EPP101740 (620 Medalist Ave).
Inspection of Materials: Copies of the proposed bylaw and related materials can be viewed at www.colwood.ca/publicnotices or in person at Colwood City Hall from September 9 to 22, 2022 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays.
