Tree Management Permit Application

Before You Begin

You will need to have all documents ready for submission, before you complete your application. The following documents are required for every Tree Management Permit Application:

  • Tree Site Plan (if removing 5 or less trees) or a Tree Management Plan (if removing over 5 trees in one calendar year)
  • Photos of tree(s) to be removed

Get Started

  1. If you are an agent acting on behalf of an owner or are an owner needing an agent to represent you, please complete the Tree Management Permit Application and Agent Authorization form. If you are the property owner and will be acting as the primary contact for the application, please complete the Tree Management Permit Application form. 
  2. Complete and submit your application form, attaching all submission requirements.

    The Colwood Development Services Department will automatically receive your completed application when all signers have completed the signing process. There is no need to forward any documents outside this process

  3. Once your application has been submitted, the Colwood Development Services department will be in contact to confirm your application has been received, and follow up on any outstanding application requirements.
