We’re excited to announce that Victoria’s own A S T R O C O L O R will be live on stage and drenched in sunshine at the Royal Beach Eats & Beats Beach Party on Saturday July 30th at the Lagoon Beach in Colwood!

Coming off performances at the Laketown Shakedown and JazzFest, Astrocolor plays on the edges of funky house, breakbeat, jazz, and ambient, conjuring an impeccably smooth sound that drifts effortlessly between hypnotic instrumental music and spaced-out vocal flourishes. Two-time nominees for “Electronic Artist of the Year” at the Western Canadian Music Awards, Astrocolor’s catalogue has over 6 million streams on the major platforms and a loyal following of listeners globally.

Food, beverages, music and fun all day

Picture yourself on the beach in the sunshine with your favourite people, s cold beverage in your hand served beachside by the Victoria Beer Society, trying out the climbing wall for a breathtaking birds eye view across the ocean or getting out there on a free paddle board trial.

You'll be sampling delicious eats from favourite local food trucks, and grooving to beats by Said the Whale and ASTROCOLOR along with some of Victoria's best, high energy performers including the New Groovement, Downtown Mischief and OK Charlie.

Throughout the day as you soak up the sun and sounds with tasty eats and craft beverages, you'll stroll the beach market featuring 40 unique local vendors, take a spin on an e-bike from West Shore Bikes, play beach games with WildPlay and West Shore Parks & Rec and even test your paddling skills in West Shore RCMP's Indigenous canoe. Throughout the day you'll get some cool body art and a fun caricature portrait of yourself to take home as a cool memento of the event.

Eats & Beats could not happen without generous support from our business community!
