Are you ready to explore more special places in Colwood this summer? There will be music and dancing circulating through eight local parks and public spaces on Friday and Saturday evenings all summer long. Look for events at Herm Williams Park, Colwood Creek Park, Royal Bay Commons, Colwood Corners, Lagoon Beach, Lagoon West Park, Colwood City Hall and Meadow Park. 

These events are one way the City works to engage residents in experiencing and enjoying their community, foster social connection, support local artists and businesses, and have some fun.

The 2024 summer series kicked off on May 24 on the lawn on Colwood City Hall with the Soul Shakers. About one hundred attendees sang along, tapped their toes, danced to the music and enjoyed dinner from Greek on the Street.

On Saturday May 25 close to 70 people braved the cool weather to enjoy the smooth stylings of West Coast Soul Collective at Lagoon West Park with delicious gourmet Galloping Goose sausages hot off the Green Goose Grill.

Coming up this weekend! Join us Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Herm Williams Park on Kelly Road with the Fabulous B-Sides. They bring "Rock. Pop. Soul... And a Whole Lotta Sass!"

Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm we'll be at the Lagoon Beach with classic rock tunes by Aftershock.
