Colwood is pleased to be home to BC Transit's new Provincial Distribution Centre, a nearly 30,000-square-foot warehouse in the Wildcat Industrial complex where parts will be stored to help mitigate supply chain issues and help BC Transit keep buses on the road.

Establishment of this new facility supports Colwood's valued partnership with BC Transit which is key to advancing our City's transportation goals.

Not only does this new facility support a more reliable transit system and cost efficiency for transit services, it also adds to Colwood's commercial tax base to increase affordability in Colwood.

The facility includes a new Warehouse Management System with the goal of making it faster and easier for BC Transit to deliver the right parts where they are needed as quickly as possible for as little downtime as possible.

The larger warehouse will be the central hub for storing and distributing parts for various initiatives including innovative technology like Umo, NextRide, CCTV and future electric buses.
