Election signs are an important reminder of our civic responsibility to vote in the Federal Election on Monday, April 28, 2025.

It's equally important that they are placed in ways that don't impede the safety or enjoyment of our community.

In September 2024, Colwood Council took steps to reduce the visual clutter of election signs, ensure they are placed safely, and limit the environmental impact of excessive plastic signage.

Signage is to be limited to a total of 5 large signs (4'x4') and 24 small signs (2'x2') per candidate, and can be placed only along 12 specific routes within Colwood. They cannot be placed on medians, in planting beds, or on hydro poles.
