Colwood Council is scheduled to consider First, Second, and Third Reading of an amendment to the Land Use Application Procedures Bylaw No. 427 at their meeting on November 25, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
PURPOSE: To expand the area within which residents must be notified about a new development application from 75 metres to 100 metres.
Bylaw No. 427 is proposed to be amended as follows:
A) Replace Section 8(b) with the following:
"Within a minimum of 100 metres (328 feet) of that part of the land that is subject to the permit"
B) Replace Section 9(b) with the following:
"Within a minimum of 100 metres (328 feet) of that part of the land that is subject to the bylaw alteration"
SUBJECT PROPERTY: This Bylaw applies to the lands within the City of Colwood.
