Temporary Trail Interruption

Improvements happening in Colwood that are expected to impact travel times. If possible, you may wish to travel outside of peak hours or choose an alternate route. 

When: January to March 2022, daily between 7:00am and 7:00pm

Where: Painter Trail

What: Underground Utility Installation

Pedestrians and cyclists may experience some delays when traveling through the Painter Trail between Dressler Road and Royal Bay, as Northridge Excavating will be installing underground utilities until March 2022. As a result, the Applegate Trail will be closed as well.

Traffic control signage and detours will be in place around the worksite. Delays may be expected. Pedestrians please be aware, use extra caution, and follow all signage and Traffic Control Personnel instructions.
