What: Line Painting at Intersection of Sooke & Goldstream and along northbound lanes of Sooke Road
Please anticipate significant delays when traveling through the intersection of Sooke Road and Goldstream Avenue. Please consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Description of Works
Line painting works along the northbound lanes of Sooke Road from Colwood Crescent to Belmont Road and the Sooke Road / Goldstream intersection:
- Eradicate arrows and paint new straight through arrows
- Paint bike and HOV symbols
- Paint lane divider skips
- Install zebra crosswalk, stop bar and tail turn arrow
- Install thermoplastic stop bars and arrows
- Paint land divider line
- Install thermoplastic bus land line with HOV
Expect single lane traffic along the northbound lanes in front of the Colwood Corners, Onni development.
Traffic control personnel will be on-site to control traffic through the intersection.
Emergency vehicle access through intersection will be maintained at all times.
Please comply with the traffic control personnel, follow their directions, obey traffic signs, reduce speed, and use caution.
