OCEAN DAY ON JUNE 8, 2024 AT FORT RODD HILL AND FISGARD LIGHTHOUSE NHS

For the third consecutive year, as part of Oceans Week Victoria, come join us for a full day of engaging ocean-themed programming, hosted by Parks Canada interpreters, the Southern Resident Killer Whale outreach team, and our esteemed partners from Ocean Wise, Peninsula Streams, and the Capital Regional District and a few more.

The waters around Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites are home to a diverse array of marine species. Canada’s network of protected areas plays an important role in protecting and restoring healthy, resilient ecosystems which contribute to the recovery of species at risk.

Drop-in programs, information booths, and games will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
