Traffic delays are expected:

When: Saturday, July 20 between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm (or until completion)

Where: Latoria Road betwen Veterans Memorial Parkway and Wishart Road

What:   Road Closure by BC Hydro - construction of underground duct for system improvements

BC Hydro has advised of upcoming work on the north side/westbound travel lane of Latoria Road. They will be constructing an underground duct for wires to cross under Latoria Road at Creekview Lane.

The following traffic management measures will be in place:

• The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
• Pedestrians will be permitted to use the sidewalk on the south side of the road.
• Cyclists must either follow designated detour routes or dismount and proceed as pedestrians.

Traffic Detours:

• Eastbound traffic will be detoured at the Latoria Road - Veterans Memorial Parkway roundabout.
• Westbound traffic will be detoured at Wishart Road.
• Residents within the closure area will have access to their homes.

Work Schedule:

The work is scheduled for approximately one day, Saturday, July 20, starting at 7am and continuing until completion (may extend into Sunday).
