Where: Wale Road from Island Highway to Goldstream Avenue

What: Wale – Wilfert Intersection Signalization & Upgrades

You may need to wait a few minutes when travelling along Wale Road between Island Highway and Goldstream Avenue as the City works to upgrade to a signalized intersection at Wale and Wilfert Roads and construct a dedicated multi-use path crossing for the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Two-lane (one in each direction) traffic will be maintained as much as possible throughout construction. Expect single lane alternating traffic throughout construction. Use of an alternate route is recommended. Random minor interruptions including full road closures may occur for short periods of about two (2) minutes.

Traffic personnel will direct traffic between 7am and 7pm. Please follow their directions, obey traffic signs, and use caution after hours.

Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained throughout construction. Emergency vehicles will be given priority access at all times.
