Traffic Advisory: CRD Urgent Water Leak Repair on Island Highway

Please be advised that the Capital Regional District will be closing a northbound lane on Island Highway near Goldstream Avenue on Friday, February 28, 2025 for the URGENT repair of a significant leak in their water main.

  • Duration of Work: Commencing at 9:00 am Friday, February 28, expected to be complete same day
  • Closures: Lane closure – Single Lane Northbound Traffic
  • Emergency Access: All emergency vehicles will receive immediate and priority access through the area.
  • Safety Notice: To ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, please follow the directions of on-site Traffic Control Personnel (TCPs) and adhere to all posted signage.
